Convert Chemical Structure Images into Searchable Formats!

Our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and structure analysis technologies recognize printed chemical structure images and convert them into searchable formats. By the ChemInfty system the digitization process of chemical structure images that used to be processed by human hands became efficient. Since the digitized data are converted in de facto standard formats, you can use the data on systems that handle chemical structure.

System Structure

The ChemInfty system consists of an image recognition engine and a correction GUI. The recognition engine takes chemical structure images as input and gives the results back. If the results contains miss-recognitions, they can be corrected by using the correction GUI efficiently. As the corrected results are converted into de facto standard formats, e.g. SDF, MOL, you can use them in various tools and services that handles chemical structure formulae.

Currently we are erabolating a prototype system for practical usage. If you are interested in the system, please drop an e-mail to contact@infty.biz.

Charactristics

  • Support for low-quality images
  • The recongtion engine can handle images including touched and broken characters and lines.
  • High usability correction GUI
  • As correction GUI indicates some hints for correction by using consistency information as chemical formulae, the correction efficiency increases.
